Welcome to VALLEY VIEW
Valley View Freewill Baptist Church has been serving Christ and the community of Dickenson County for over 100 years! We believe that our church has much to offer every age and spiritual level, our main goal is to preach and teach The Word of God that people may be saved and grow as followers of Jesus Christ. We trust and believe in the entirety of God’s Word and look to live it out in every area of our life. The song’s we sing, the prayers we pray, the sermons we preach and the missions we embark on must always be led by the Holy Spirit and grounded in the mighty Word of God.
Valley View Church has comfortable seating in a beautiful sanctuary that will seat up to 250 in attendance. We have facilities and volunteers to conduct nursery and youth services during Sunday worship and on Thursday’s at Youth Group 4Twelve. There are many ways to grow in your faith at Valley View through the many groups, events and missions that take place.
We know that we are not a perfect church but we do follow and trust a perfect God to help shape us and make us into the people he has called us to be.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT SUNDAY WORSHIP
A typical service will last about 90 minutes. Worship consists of music, songs and hymns that are biblical and able to be sang by everyone. We take very seriously the music, songs and hymns as well as those leading. All music is led by our Worship Leader and team. We usually gather at the altar for prayer and then there is always a sermon preached from God’s Word, by one of our Pastors or a visiting Minister. There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. After service you can expect a handshake or even a hug in fellowship. We are laid back in personality while maintaining reverence for God and his House. Dress is modest and respectful to both Gus and those attending.
